Every grooming includes:
- Bath with customized shampoo and conditioner
- Drying by hand (no cage drying)
- Short-haired pets brushed to minimize shedding
- Coated pets combed and styled to client specifications
- Anal glands checked and relieved if necessary
- Ears cleaned and hair lightly plucked
- Nails trimmed and filed
- Yummy meat or cheese treat when finished
- Bow or bandanna for holidays and special occasions
Mini-groom (for pets who are on a regular grooming schedule and require a bath and brush-out between complete grooming appointments) includes:
- Bath with customized shampoo and conditioner
- Drying by hand (no cage drying)
- Minimal brushing to remove tangles and dead hair
- Minimal trimming of face and feet
- Ears cleaned
- Nails trimmed and filed
- Yummy meat or cheese treat when finished
Preferred Client Program:
Receive a 10% discount when you pre-book appointments at intervals up to 8 weeks. This discount does not apply to appointments rescheduled for intervals longer than 8 weeks.
- Option A – next appointment is scheduled when you pick up your pet
- Option B – request a phone or email reminder two weeks prior to the due date of next appointment interval to schedule appointment.
Puppy’s First Groom:
Puppies up to 6 months old are eligible for a complimentary “Introduction to Grooming” appointment. This will be a short visit intended to get your puppy acquainted with the grooming process. Proper home grooming techniques will be discussed and demonstrated when you return for your puppy.
Fees:
Fees depend on the size of your dog and condition of your dog’s coat. You will always know how much your dog’s grooming will cost before you leave your dog at Southpaw Pet Salon.
Additional fees may be assessed, as needed, for de-matting, de-skunking, use of medicated shampoo, or other special needs including dogs that are fearful, elderly, or difficult to handle. I will discuss these charges with you when you leave your dog with me.
